Tutoring Services

All of our students have academic challenges, whether they are learning English, improving literacy and numeracy skills or preparing for a Regents Exam or the SAT’s. CDI’s intensive tutoring program complements Manhattan Comprehensive’s academic instruction to help address students’ individual challenges.

With 175 volunteer tutors, CDI’s tutoring program is one of the largest in New York City. CDI also has 3 tutors on staff who work with students tutors one-on-one, in small groups or right in the classroom. The voices of students and tutors echo across the CDI offices at all hours as tutors meet with their students morning until night.
